01 -
Set your oven to 425°F and move an oven rack to sit in the top third.
02 -
Throw the goat cheese, cream cheese, 1 tablespoon honey, chopped garlic, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes into a food processor.
03 -
Blend until the texture turns soft and creamy, which might take 2 minutes. Scrape down the sides and bottom as needed. It'll clump at first, but keep going until it's smooth.
04 -
Give it a taste. Add a pinch more chili flakes if you'd like it spicier or a bit more honey for sweetness.
05 -
Spoon the cheese blend into a small ramekin or baking dish.
06 -
Bake it for 15-20 minutes, or until it's heated through and slightly puffy.
07 -
Once baked, pull it out and trickle the remaining 2 teaspoons of honey on top.
08 -
Dig in while warm! Pair with items like toasted sourdough, crispy crostini, pita chips, sturdy crackers (gluten-free works too), fresh carrot slices, berries, tapenade, or olives.
