Baked Goat Cheese App (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 10 oz of goat cheese.
02 - 2 oz of cream cheese.
03 - 1 tablespoon honey, plus 2 teaspoons extra for topping (split).
04 - 1 small or medium garlic clove, chopped into chunks.
05 - ¼ teaspoon of fine salt.
06 - 10 cranks on the pepper grinder.
07 - ⅛ teaspoon red chili flakes for a bit of heat (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 425°F and move an oven rack to sit in the top third.
02 - Throw the goat cheese, cream cheese, 1 tablespoon honey, chopped garlic, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes into a food processor.
03 - Blend until the texture turns soft and creamy, which might take 2 minutes. Scrape down the sides and bottom as needed. It'll clump at first, but keep going until it's smooth.
04 - Give it a taste. Add a pinch more chili flakes if you'd like it spicier or a bit more honey for sweetness.
05 - Spoon the cheese blend into a small ramekin or baking dish.
06 - Bake it for 15-20 minutes, or until it's heated through and slightly puffy.
07 - Once baked, pull it out and trickle the remaining 2 teaspoons of honey on top.
08 - Dig in while warm! Pair with items like toasted sourdough, crispy crostini, pita chips, sturdy crackers (gluten-free works too), fresh carrot slices, berries, tapenade, or olives.

# Notes:

01 - Blend easier: If possible, use ingredients that aren't right out of the fridge. It works quieter and smoother.
02 - No gluten? Swap regular bread or crackers with gluten-free choices.
03 - Make it yours: Add more or less honey and chili flakes based on your mood.
