Burrata Caprese Plate (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Burrata Prep

01 - 2 burrata balls
02 - Pinch of salt
03 - Dash of black pepper

→ Tomato Mix

04 - 3 big heirloom tomatoes
05 - 1 cup small cherry tomatoes
06 - 1/2 tsp salt
07 - 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
08 - 10 large basil leaves, fresh
09 - 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
10 - 2 tbsp good quality olive oil

# Instructions:

01 - Remove the liquid from the burrata and place them nearby
02 - Cut heirloom tomatoes into thick rounds and arrange them on a platter, keeping the edges a little overlapped. Scatter cherry tomatoes in between
03 - Sprinkle a little salt and pepper over the tomatoes, then drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the top
04 - Finely chop the basil, then sprinkle half across the tomatoes for flavor
05 - Using your fingers, gently open each burrata ball and place it carefully on the platter of tomatoes
06 - Sprinkle the burrata with salt and pepper, drizzle the remaining olive oil over everything, top with the rest of the basil, and pour balsamic vinegar on last

# Notes:

01 - For a thicker drizzle, use a store-bought balsamic glaze or simmer some balsamic until it thickens
02 - Serve with fresh arugula or complement with a side of pesto for an extra kick
