Buttery Lemon Cod (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fish

01 - 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)

→ Sauce Base

02 - 2 tbsp olive oil
03 - 1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter (60g)
04 - Juice from 1 lemon, about 3 tbsp

→ Seasonings

05 - 1/2 tsp dried thyme
06 - 1 tsp lemon zest
07 - 3 minced garlic cloves
08 - Salt and black pepper to your liking
09 - 1/2 tsp paprika

→ Garnish

10 - Lemon slices for topping
11 - 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish lightly.
02 - In a small bowl, stir together the butter, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, zest, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.
03 - Lay the cod fillets in your greased dish. Pour the sauce over them and make sure each piece is well coated.
04 - Bake in the oven for about 12 to 15 minutes until the cod is flaky and opaque.
05 - Top with parsley and lemon slices before enjoying.

# Notes:

01 - You can swap cod for other types of white fish like haddock or tilapia.
02 - For a kick of heat, add some chili flakes.
