Cajun Steak Shrimp Alfredo (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Proteins

01 - 10 jumbo shrimp
02 - 16 oz beef steak

→ Creamy Sauce Components

03 - 3 minced garlic cloves
04 - 1 cup freshly shredded Parmesan
05 - 2 tablespoons butter (unsalted)
06 - 1 cup rich whipping cream
07 - 1 cup broth made from chicken

→ Pasta and Toppings

08 - Chopped flat-leaf parsley for garnish
09 - 1 pack of fettuccine noodles

# Instructions:

01 - Set the grill to low, indirect heat to cook the steak slowly before giving it a quick sear.
02 - Coat the steak generously with SPG or a spice blend of your choice. Skewer the shrimp and sprinkle on some Cajun seasoning.
03 - Place the steak on the cooler side of the grill and let it cook to 110°F (around 20 minutes). Put it on high heat after for a seared finish at 127°F.
04 - In a medium pan, melt butter and cook garlic for about 2 minutes. Mix in the cream, chicken broth, and Parmesan until it thickens.
05 - Cook the fettuccine in salted water for 6–8 minutes until they’re just tender but firm to the bite.
06 - After waiting 10 minutes for the steak to rest, slice it against the grain. Stir the pasta into the creamy sauce and plate with sliced steak and shrimp on top.

# Notes:

01 - Slicing the steak after resting makes it taste juicier.
02 - If you’re out of chicken broth, pasta water works as a replacement.
