Chili Garlic Shrimp (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - ¼ cup parsley, freshly chopped
02 - 1 pound large or jumbo shrimp, peeled and cleaned
03 - ½ teaspoon ground black pepper, adjust to taste
04 - ½ teaspoon sea salt, adjust to taste
05 - 5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
06 - 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
07 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
08 - 2 red chilies, diced

# Instructions:

01 - In a big frying pan, warm the butter and olive oil over high heat. Let the butter melt and start to bubble slightly.
02 - Place the shrimp in the skillet in one layer. Sprinkle with pepper and salt. Let them cook for 2-3 minutes until they become pink with golden, crispy edges.
03 - Turn the shrimp onto the other side. Cook for about 2 minutes more, seasoning this side with salt and pepper, too.
04 - Throw in the garlic, chopped chilies, and parsley. Stir everything well, letting the heat boost their flavors. Cook for 30 seconds or until the garlic smells nice but isn't browned.
05 - Take it off the burner and serve right away while warm. Great as a snack, with rice as a main, or paired with veggies.

# Notes:

01 - These are crazy quick to whip up—ready in under 15 minutes, spicy, and super tasty!
02 - They’re flexible and can be a starter or a midday meal over rice.
03 - Want a full plate? Add some greens like steamed veggies or a side salad.
04 - Dial up or cool down the spice—just add more or fewer chilies, depending on what you like.
