Use parchment or wax paper under everything. Keep powdered sugar at hand in case it gets tacky.

Whisk butter until it fluffs up nicely.

Gradually add the sugar, cream, and mint and blend until the texture firms up.

Divide the dough mix. Keep most of it white and color a smaller portion red.

Make two balls, one white and one red, by rolling with your hands.

Make a thicker white rope and a thin red one by rolling them out.

Wrap the two ropes around each other tightly.

Pinch off little pieces and smooth them into balls by rolling in your palms.

Lay pieces on wax paper. Let them sit for 1-2 hours to firm up. Slice them with a pizza cutter.

Leave them to air out for 24 hours.
