Crispy Cheese Fries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - One bag (about a pound) of frozen fries

→ Toppings

02 - A mix of shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, about 3/4 cup total
03 - 3-4 slices of bacon, chopped and cooked until crunchy
04 - Chopped green onions for sprinkling
05 - Chopped pickled jalapeños for extra kick
06 - Drizzle some sour cream on top

→ Fry Seasoning

07 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
08 - Half a teaspoon of onion powder
09 - Half a teaspoon of paprika
10 - Half a teaspoon of dried oregano or Italian herbs
11 - A pinch of salt, about half a teaspoon

# Instructions:

01 - Crank your oven up to 400°F to warm it up. Combine all the seasoning ingredients in a small bowl, then put it aside for later.
02 - Cook the fries until they’re crispy and golden. Use an air fryer if you’ve got one, or bake them in the oven—you choose!
03 - Move the fries to a tray that’s safe for the oven. Spray them lightly with oil and sprinkle about half the seasoning mix. Toss until they’re evenly coated.
04 - Spread the fries out flat on the tray and cover them with the shredded cheese. Broil for 1-2 minutes, just enough to melt the cheese. Keep an eye on it so the cheese doesn’t harden.
05 - Finish by covering the cheesy fries with the crispy bacon, jalapeños, and green onion. Drizzle sour cream on top and sprinkle on the leftover seasoning mix.
06 - Dig in while everything’s still hot and the fries stay crispy. They’re best shared with friends or family!

# Notes:

01 - Perfect for game days or hosting a party—these fries are a crowd-pleaser!
02 - For the best results, put all the toppings right before eating. Once the fries cool, they go soggy fast.
03 - Not into shredded cheese? Make a quick cheese sauce! Toss 3/4 cup cheese with 1 teaspoon cornstarch. Warm 1/2 cup heavy cream over low heat, pour in the cheese mixture, turn the heat off, and cover for 2 minutes. Remove the lid, whisk until smooth, and cook 1 extra minute to thicken.
