01 -
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and get a baking sheet ready with either parchment paper or a silicone mat.
02 -
Pick out the green, purple, and orange M&M's, then toss them into a small dish for later.
03 -
Mix the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking soda together by sifting them into a bowl. Leave it aside.
04 -
Beat the softened butter with sugar and brown sugar using a mixer until it turns creamy and fluffy.
05 -
Throw in the eggs and vanilla, and keep mixing till it's all one smooth mixture.
06 -
Slowly work the dry stuff into the wet mixture, mixing bit by bit until it's fully blended.
07 -
Stir about half the M&M's into the cookie dough until they're all spread around.
08 -
Roll the dough into balls roughly 2 inches each. Push the leftover M&M's onto the tops of each one.
09 -
Pop the tray into the oven and bake for about 9-11 minutes until the sides look firm. Let them sit on the tray for a few minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool off.
10 -
Soften the frosting by heating it in the microwave for 15 seconds. Mix in the green food coloring until it's just the shade you want.
11 -
Use a flavor injector to stuff the cookies. Poke the side of each one and fill it until the frosting bubbles up slightly on top.
