Holiday Fruit Mix Bowl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 apples (red).
02 - 2 apples (green).
03 - 1 cup of grapes.
04 - 1 cup of pecans.
05 - 1/4 cup of apple pie spice.
06 - 3 oranges.
07 - 1 lemon, juiced.
08 - 1 orange, zested.
09 - 1 lemon, zested.
10 - 1/2 cup of orange juice.
11 - 1/4 cup of sugar.
12 - 3/4 cup of dried cranberries.

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 350°. Spread pecans on a tray. When you can smell them, take them out. Let them chill until cool.
02 - In a small pot, combine orange juice, sugar, zests, and spice. Heat until it just starts bubbling. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes to thicken.
03 - Run the sauce through a strainer into a bowl. Let it cool completely.
04 - Slice apples into chunks. Toss with a bit of lemon juice to keep them fresh looking.
05 - Peel the oranges and cut them into small sections.
06 - In a big mixing bowl, combine oranges, apples, nuts, cranberries, and grapes.
07 - Pour the cooled sauce over the fruit. Stir till everything's well coated, then enjoy it fresh.

# Notes:

01 - You can keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
02 - Throw in some pomegranate seeds or pear chunks for a twist.
