Honey Garlic Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 2 tablespoons butter, separated
03 - 1 pound chicken breast, no skin or bones
04 - 1/4 cup plain flour

→ Sauce

05 - 1/3 cup honey
06 - 6 cloves garlic, sliced nice and thin
07 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
08 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, seasoned

→ Seasonings & Garnish

09 - Sliced green onions for topping
10 - A pinch of kosher salt
11 - A dash of freshly ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Place 1 tablespoon of butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium to medium-high heat and warm it up.
02 - Take the breasts and cut them in half lengthwise to make four thin pieces. Dust them all over with flour after seasoning with salt and pepper.
03 - In the skillet, cook the chicken on both sides for about 4-5 minutes each until it turns golden. Set it aside once done.
04 - On medium-low heat, melt the rest of the butter in the pan. Toss in the garlic slices and stir gently for about half a minute, just until that lovely aroma comes through.
05 - Pour in the soy sauce and vinegar, scraping up stuck bits. Add the honey, salt, and pepper. Let it bubble gently for 4-5 minutes so it can thicken up a bit.
06 - Pop the cooked chicken back into the pan, coat it in the sauce, and simmer for another minute until it's reheated. Finish with sliced green onions on top and enjoy.

# Notes:
