Maple Mustard Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8-ounce chicken breast, about medium size.
02 - 1 teaspoon tarragon, dried.
03 - 1 clove of garlic, either minced or crushed.
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil that’s mild in flavor.
05 - A quarter teaspoon of salt.
06 - Half a tablespoon of white wine vinegar.
07 - 2 spoonfuls of maple syrup, preferably real.
08 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, good quality.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine everything for the marinade in a bowl and give it a good stir. Leave it for now.
02 - Use a meat mallet to pound the thick side of your chicken breast until it’s the same thickness all over. Cover it with plastic wrap beforehand.
03 - Put the marinade in a sealable bag. Add the chicken, close the bag, and massage it gently until the chicken is fully coated.
04 - Pop the bag in the fridge and leave it for 30 minutes to soak up the flavors.
05 - Take the chicken out of the bag, then grill or bake it however you’d like.
06 - Set your oven to 400°F. Line a baking pan with foil and add a wire rack on top. Place the chicken on the rack and bake it uncovered until its temperature inside reads 165°F. This should take about 25 minutes if the chicken is half an inch thick.
07 - Grill the chicken until the inside temperature reaches 165°F. If it’s half an inch thick, this will probably take around 15 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - For an incredible combo of tangy and sweet, this Maple Mustard Chicken is a must-try. The maple syrup adds sweetness, while Dijon mustard gives it rich depth. It works great either grilled or baked!
