Cheesy Parmesan Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cheeses

01 - 1/2 cup Parmesan, grated up finely
02 - 1 cup of fresh mozzarella, shredded or diced small

→ Coating

03 - 1/4 cup plain flour
04 - 1 lightly beaten egg, large
05 - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Italian-style or plain)

→ Seasonings

06 - 1 teaspoon of an Italian herb mix (basil, oregano)
07 - A pinch of freshly ground black pepper
08 - Cooking spray or drizzle of olive oil for finishing
09 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
10 - 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and let it heat up. Grab a baking tray and line it with parchment paper so the cheese bites won't stick.
02 - Mix together the mozzarella and Parmesan in a bowl. This cheesy duo makes for a gooey, flavorful bite.
03 - Set up three separate bowls: one with flour, another with the beaten egg, and the last one with breadcrumbs mixed with all your seasonings. You're ready to coat the cheese balls!
04 - Scoop up about a tablespoon of the cheese mix and roll it into a ball in your hands. You’ll end up with about 12-15 balls. Coat each one in flour first, then give it a swim in the egg, and finally roll it around in the seasoned crumbs.
05 - Place each breaded cheese ball onto the lined baking sheet with a bit of space between. Lightly spray them with cooking oil or drizzle olive oil over the top so they crisp up.
06 - Bake the cheese balls for about 10-12 minutes, watching closely toward the end to keep them from bursting. You want them golden and melty inside!

# Notes:

01 - Let these cool for a few minutes. They’re super hot and gooey fresh out of the oven!
02 - Serve with dips like marinara, spicy mayo, or ranch to add an extra kick.
