Cheeseburger Slider Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Beef Filling

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 1 tablespoon softened butter
03 - 1 pound ground beef
04 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
05 - 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
06 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
07 - Fresh black pepper, as much as you like
08 - 1/2 white onion, chopped small
09 - 2 garlic cloves, pressed or finely minced

→ Slider Assembly

10 - 12-pack King's Hawaiian Savory Butter Rolls
11 - 16 slices of American cheese (Boar's Head recommended)
12 - 3 tablespoons of melted butter
13 - 2 teaspoons sesame seeds, white
14 - A shake of salt and garlic powder

→ Special Sauce

15 - 1/4 cup ketchup
16 - 1/2 cup mayo
17 - 2 teaspoons of sugar
18 - Salt and ground pepper to your liking
19 - 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
20 - 1 teaspoon white vinegar

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 350°F. Spread some butter on a baking sheet to get it ready.
02 - Pour olive oil into a medium pan and warm it on medium heat. Sauté the chopped onions for around 3 minutes, then toss in the ground beef. Cook and break it apart until all the pink is gone, about 6-7 minutes. Drain extra grease, add in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper, and cook 1 more minute.
03 - Cut the rolls in half. Put the bottoms on the greased baking sheet. Lay down 8 cheese slices, followed by the cooked beef (press it a little to hold it together), then top it with the rest of the cheese. Cover it all with the roll tops.
04 - Mix the melted butter with a little salt and garlic powder. Use a pastry brush to swipe it over the roll tops, then sprinkle them with sesame seeds. Bake this for 12-15 minutes, watching until the buns are warm and cheese is gooey. If the tops get too dark too fast, cover them with foil.
05 - Grab a bowl and stir together mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, sugar, vinegar, plus some salt and pepper. Mix until everything's smooth.
